I adopted Jess as an abused adolescent. He had many issues with fear and trust, so I knew I needed to be very careful about the trainer that I selected for Jess. I received Fran's name from the Humane Society of Catawba County and she came very highly recommended. I visited Fran at work and watched the way she not only worked with the dogs, but her patience and understanding of the owners. She was wonderful. Jess immediately relaxed when she came up to say hello, and after just a few minutes and some tips from Fran, Jess allowed strangers to pet him without panic and fear. Of course, it was a long road and Jess still have some issues, but we have a terrific bond and we actually communicate and "speak the same language" thanks to Fran's understanding, knowledge and patience. After her work with Jess and I, I can only imagine the wonderful things she could do without the special issues of an abused dog! I strongly recommend Fran as an amazing trainer!

Fran has been a wonderful source of information AND inspiration. I have found myself to be the "unofficial rescue" for feral cats, unwanted dogs, and some horses with issues. I am so thankful that Fran has been there for me, with my frustrated and panicked phone calls for advice. And without question, she has been on the mark about everything! She has a wonderful communication gift with animals, especially dogs, and it only takes a few minutes to see her with your dog and you will know that she possesses a very special bond with animals. They seem to know she is there to help them - not to mention that she is GREAT with people too! She made me feel like I COULD accomplish my goals with my menagerie - one step at a time - and AGAIN she was right! :)

We started with Fran when we got our first rescue St. Bernard, George. George had already attended puppy school, and we wanted to work more on her obedience skills. Fran did a great job with George, so when Bruno came to us, we immediately knew what trainer we wanted to work with Bruno. We think Fran is a great trainer, and our dogs loved her!

This is our horse, Pico. We had him on the racetrack for 3 years, and when we wanted to stand him as a stallion on our property, we had some problems that Fran helped us with. He refused the hotwalker, and nearly yanked the whole thing out of the ground. Even using stud chains, was not working. He just didn't respect any human. We thank Fran for helping us through some tough times we him, and just had to show you that he is a gentleman on the hotwalker and being handled in the breeding shed. Thank you Fran.

We wish to thank you for your patience while attending your training class. I believe that you did an excellent job of training us; our dog Onix knew what to do all the time. Seriously, our dog is a good companion and not the monster he would have been without proper training.

My name is Ashley and Fran was our trainer for me and my dog Hank. Since I am only 12, most of the trainers wouldn't work with me they wanted to have my Mom train my dog. I am glad that Fran let ME train MY dog. Hank is great! He still chews my shoes, but we are working on that and I know if I just put them away, he wouldn't be able to chew them and he is only 5 month old too.

Thank you so much for all the work you did with him and us. You are a wonderful trainer not only because you're so great with dogs but you also took the time to train us to make us better owners. I know that we never could have gotten Nuka to the point he is now without your influence and I can't wait to begin his advanced training. We'll call you in January to schedule. I am glad that we met Fran before we got a dog for our kids. We really wanted a female puppy to grow up together with our kids, aged 2, 3 and 5, but thankfully we talked with Fran first. She helped us adopt a great dog that is a perfect match for our family's lifestyle. Of course, we would have loved a female puppy but we got a 2 year old male hound mix that I think is the PERFECT match. It makes me feel so wonderful to see my little 3 year old tell Spuds to set, and he does! Without question! And he is so good about letting the girls dress him up!

I don't just hire any trainer. I waited for years before I found a trainer I would trust for Putter. That trainer was you. You have such a talent and such an ability to work with and understand dogs.
